This Privacy Policy explains how 01 Robots Pte. Ltd. (“01 ROBOTS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit 01-robots.com, buy a ticket, submit an application, attend 01 ROBOTS: Robotics World Festival in Singapore (8–9 April 2027, Marina Bay Sands) or the 01 ROBOTS: AWARD gala, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”).
We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

We collect personal data that you give us, that is generated when you use our website or attend our events, and that we receive from third parties such as payment providers, social-media platforms and your employer.
Some information, such as identity documents for visa letters or media accreditation, may be requested separately by email. We use it only for that purpose.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as health information. If you tell us about accessibility needs, we use that information only to accommodate you.

Partner offers. When you buy a ticket, you can tick an optional box to receive offers from 01 ROBOTS sponsors and partners. If you tick it, we may share your name, email, phone number, company and job title with those sponsors and partners. Ticking the box is not required to buy a ticket or attend.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, by replying STOP to messages, or by writing to privacy@01-robots.com. To stop receiving messages from a sponsor or partner who has received your details, contact them directly as well.
We will still send you service messages about your ticket, application or event attendance.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the website to work. Others help us understand how the website is used and measure our advertising.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for analytics, and advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, X and TikTok. These tools may collect your IP address, device information, cookie identifiers and the pages you visit. The providers may combine this with other data they hold about you, under their own privacy policies.

01 ROBOTS events are photographed, filmed, recorded and may be livestreamed. By attending, you agree to appear in this content and to our use of it. If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, please do not attend.
Photographers, videographers and media will be working throughout the venue, including on stages, in arenas, on the exhibition floor, at the AWARD gala and in networking areas. Signs at the entrances will remind attendees of this.

If a published photo shows you in close-up and you would like it removed, write to privacy@01-robots.com and we will consider your request. We cannot remove content already published by media, other attendees or third parties.
Exhibitors, sponsors and startups at 01 ROBOTS run their own stands and demonstrations. Many robots on display have cameras, microphones and other sensors, and some may use face or voice recognition.
Exhibitors are separate organisations. They are responsible for any personal data they collect at their stand or through their robots, including when you give them your contact details directly. Their own privacy policies apply. We require exhibitors to comply with applicable data protection laws and to display a notice at their stand when a demonstration records or recognises people.
If you do not want to be recorded by a robot, please keep a distance from demonstrations or ask the exhibitor before taking part.
Our website and Services are intended for adults. Only people aged 18 or over may buy tickets, submit applications or create accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from anyone under 18.
Young people may attend the festival only with a ticket bought by a parent or guardian, subject to the minimum age set out in our Ticket Terms, and must be accompanied by that adult at all times. The accompanying adult provides any information we need about the young person and is responsible for them during the event.
By bringing a young person to the event, the parent or guardian agrees on their behalf to this Privacy Policy, including photography, filming and livestreaming (Section 7).

International transfers. Many of our service providers store data outside Singapore, mainly in the United States and the European Union.
